When to use O2
« on: Feb 6th, 2003, 10:32am »

In my 4th week of a cycle, hasn't been too bad (with limited exceptions).  My question:  When do you use O2, which I use to abort CHs.  I usually wait until I am sure the CH is kicking in, as many times I get shadows or whatever that end up being just minor annoyances.  I am worried that if I use O2 to abort them (when I probably don't need to), they will come back later stronger.  Do you get rebound CHs after O2?  Or should I just hit the O2 as soon as I get any sign?  Thanks.

O2 is my main abortive. My advice is to hit the O2 when that SOB starts to tease you.
I never had rebounds of the O2 and never heard of it, but that is me.

Hope it helped.

Same here, hit the beast as soon as it rears its ugly head. 5 minutes and he goes to sleep again.

If you are on a regular schedule as some of us are (every other hour f'r instance) talking about rebounds is academic.

Hi Sabdet,
I'm with Rik. Why even give the beast a chance to get started? When you feel it coming on, go grab that mask on and get some relief.
Never heard of nor have I had any rebound ha's from the o2.
PFDAN's to you.

Hit the O2 10 min ago when you feel a shadow.  The worst that can happen is you abort a shadow and use up some O2.

As far as I know, there is no such thing as the O2 causing the beast to rebound worse later.  Jonny and Ueli are the expert guru's on the O2 though.

If I get a shadow, or even if I feel my right side of my nose starting to congest, I hit the O2.  I have done that and never got the hit.  False alarm or abort, not sure but my money is on the abort.

1. When you can't breath.

Only kidding. Hit the O2 as soon as you feel the Beast kickin in. Hit it hard and deep at a high setting for as long as it takes to abort.
