Off to bed soon

I hope the beast doesn't come again tonight. Last night I had a Kip 6-7 around dinner time... then another 6-7 an hour before bedtime... then a 10+ hit after I went to bed. I ran around the house screaming and hitting the walls... scared the shit out of my 13 y.o. daughter. Same thing two or three nights last week too. She said she freaks out because she has never seen anyone with so much pain ???

Thinking of you Frank, and hope tonight's a better night than last night.
Hang in there. Kids are tougher than we think, but do talk it over with her - she'll want to help you.

Frank,

I hope you had a pf night and was able to get some rest. Firebrix is right, you should explain to your daughter that you will not die (because seeing such pain must cross their minds) and that it will go away, its just your way of dealing with it.

Take care,

Hang in there Frank. It is tough being the man of the house and hurting. Your daughter is learning a powerful positive lesson about life---we all go through painful moments and still manage to move forward.  Wishing you strength, the loss of sleep can be very debilitating.
