I miss you guys. I miss the way when I first joined how supportive you were of me with my headaches. After four months of headaches I kind of learned how to deal with them on my own, but have yet to find a way to deal with my husband’s illness. I realize that that isn’t what this message board is about … helping to support people through the daily struggles of life and that is why I haven’t posted for a while. Just wanted to let you know that we are still around … dealing with the HepC that hubby has. It is not going real well and he is pretty week and tired at this point. The meds just don’t seem to be working. Just wanted to let you know where I have been. I’ll be back to support when I can .. and Jonny, if I need to get a new name cause I can’t remember my password well ….. give me a break ok? I’m still gonna try and make the Easterner’s OUCH meeting if possible.

Hey, Nancy-
I've seen this group stand behind people for any number of reasons- I know they are the best at that!
Please stay out of cycle, Red needs all you've got right now- and any time you or Red need someone to lean on, I hope you'll come here.
CH is nasty stuff, HepC is nasty stuff, and there is a LOT of strength here to help you deal with BOTH- not to mention the fact that this forum needs YOU, with your great humor and level mindedness.
BTW- ya wanna tell us about the collapsed sewer pipe- and the weather? No one can tell that story better, Nan!
So glad you posted....looking forward to lots more from you....PF, of course!

Geez Louise Brain Cramps ... get a grip ... it's easy to go out of cycle ... just post a mesage with all "the crappy numbers stuck in the middle" like I just did showing everyone you have no clue whatsoever what it going on, have your husband keep you up all night long with the silent but deadly side effects of the shit he has to shoot himself up with, have your sewer pipe collapse and have the workers not show up for 2 weeks while you are shit*ing in your own back yard, get the severence letter that you have known was coming but hoped never showed up, have your 70 + year old dad move in with you .. who by the way has no clue anymore what is really going on in the world .... and wait .... this is the best .... just wait for that first grandbaby to be born ... and hell, by then you are soooooo stressed that the CH don't dare show up at your doorstep. If you have problems fitting the bill ... well, all I can say is I am willing to share the stress (except for the grandbaby ... that one is mine ... all mine) Hang tough you guys. Glad I got to post after so long. Hopefully I will be back soon.

I know just exactly what your going through and it sure isn't a bowl of cherries, self induced Malaria every other day and the weakness and problems from Red's illness are very difficult to have to deal with, he's as lucky as I am to have some one as wonderful as you to help him through this tough time, and I mean TOUGH TIME, Terri and I are here when ever you need to talk but my Long distance within the us is free after 9pm and on the weekends so I will call you, I pray for you both every day! Tell Red to close his eye's and think of doing this to his Gastroendorologist when he beats this bad boy!

Well, like I said ... I miss the support I used to get. So with that said ... thanks to those of you who responded ... you know you are near and dear to my heart and will be in my prayers always. Other than that, there is nothing here for me. I'll keep in touch with you as we have done over the last month, other than that ... well, there is no support here for me. Perhaps if I am ever head banging again for another few months ... well, maybe I will change my mind. But for you guys that say people don't stick around when out of cycle .... well, you need to give a little to get a little and that is all I will say.

Not sure I understand things here nancy, really wishing you and your husband the best with both your pain right now.....and hoping you really know how sincere that is.
So please offer me an explanation as to your "getting nothing here" ......."give a little to get a little" not really sure what you're meaning there and I would surely HATE to see that you TRULY FEEL THAT WAY ABOUT US HERE
Get nothing, gee, I find that a little hard to believe.....for if you "get nothing" from us, why would you come back to the ppl who evidently "give" nothing.
Please explain soon, as I really am confused and don't want to get agitated by this
