A promotion?? For me??

I interviewed today for a promotion with my current company. Funny how they make you apply for the job.
I feel that I hold a slight edge to the competition as I know the market better than the rest.
It has taken ten years to climb the mountain since I was "downsized" and I am hoping that the climb is near the end.
Send good thoughts my way if you would.
