make my ears Bleed!!!

I am sure that this is probably old news for some but I thought I would share my thoughts on this.

I have found that during a CH that happens during the day I can crank up the stereo with some adrenaline pumping HEAVY METAL music.  (Being that I like this type of music helps.  I am not sure if the best of Nashville Country hits would work.)   A CH is an Angry and painful event.  Many Heavy Metal songs portray such a similar emotion to what is being felt during a CH attack that I can become one with the song.  And through the song lyrics, guitar, drums, and whatever else is used to create the musical composition in combination with my own venting of anger and frustration it becomes a gigantic release far greater than just rocking in a chair or pacing back and forth or hitting your head against a wall.  Depending on the style of the singer and how much anger he is letting out it can just feel damn good to sing along with.

I am sure there is a medical reason why singing along (screaming along) would help make the CH feel better but I am not sure what it is.  I just discovered this the other day when I posted about when I was yelling at GOD and it stopped the CH.  Well then I experimented afterward with singing (screaming) and so far it seems to have a similar effect.

Like I said though I am sure it has something to do with a release of both the anger as well as belting it out. So “fa-la-la” I am sure isn’t going to do it.

Give it a shot, if nothing else you might want to just belt one out into your pillow. Give it a good one.

Give me some good feed back on this one cuz maybe I’m just nuts.
If this really does work I think I’m going to become a singer….lol.  Grin

By the way…. Just cuz I like metal and I yell at God doesn’t make me a bad person.

Nope...the Nashville tunes just don't do it, in fact....I think it can make it worse.  But, I'm the same......I'll crank it up as loud as I can, and, at those times, even Staind can be a little soft.  Can't say that I sing along, don't think much comes out of my mouth except cussing.....but it does help with the pacing, and gives you a nice rhythm to bang your head with.

No doubt, loud head banging earcrushing sounds help me sometimes if I can get into it.  If I get above a Kip7 though I can't deal with music.

I know for a fact that my head would literally EXPLODE if some fool was to aim country or western at my skull during a CH.
