Feelin' shitty.

I think all that prednisone does is give you a few extra PFD's in a cycle. Now that I am tapering down I'm getting slammed again. So now it's time to double up on the Verapamil in hopes that somehow this will make the difference, (and we all know what high doses of Ver. do for the bowel). I use the O2 which will abort an attack or maybe just keep it at bay for a few extra hours...but DAMN these things...and I'm only 2 1/2 weeks into a cycle...with about 9 more weeks to go. And besides you guys on this site...no one knows or understands what I'm going through even if I try to explain. I'm just mad as hell right now...over this whole thing...and needed to vent.

Maybe I can make you feel alittle better, K.
Im 27 years into my cycle (chronic) with no end in site.
I too find help with 02, also Verapamil and Lithium.
Hang in there, the lights always on at this home!!!

I know that being chronic is so much worse..I think I'm just feeling sorry for myself lately....scared of going chronic. The time between cycles is half of what it used to be.

If this is true, you have the right to feel cocky! and...Cootie, you're halarious! I almost forgot about the "feelin shitty" part. ;D
(on a more serious note)...I'm just finishing out on this bullshit prednisone...and I'm up to 360mg of verapamil and taking imitrex once a day. Using O2 for the rest. I'm wondering if I'm going to get rebound at one imitrex a day because I'm using the 6mg. I should split it up maybe...plus last cycle I had to take 480 mg of Verapamil to get things under control. This post should probably be under the "meds" section. I'm just trying to figure out what to do with myself..........
