Ted and I won free roundtrip airfaire to Cancun. We need a place to stay. Can anyone please make a recomendation or two. We are thinking about going next summer. We just have to take the trip by 9/20/09. I am so excited about going. Also does anyone know if you need a passport to go to Mexico?

You will need a passport. Check your PMs. Jerry

potters idea is a good one.........loved it there .......i do love cancun for the sunsets, tho real touristy..............playa del carmen is fun also, some nice hotels right on the water off the cobblestone street.............(ferry to cozumel is right there), which is also a fun day....take the ferry over, rent mopeds(on your own, dont get any of those guys that r right as u get off ferry!!!).....................another day trip is to rent a 4wheel drive and go off road, ...............if you get off the "beaten path", and get into the real culture, food, people, you will have a better time..........put the backpack on and go! unless u r into going to an all inclusive and just relaxing! do some research on internet ........................
