This is a cool place that EJ told me about: http://www.archive.org/details/prelinger It's a collection of over 60,000 ephemeral productions, 2000 of which are viewable online. I hadn't seen "Duck and Cover" since I was a kid--and was instructed to fold myself into a fetal position in case of a nuclear explosion. (May as well, I suppose.) In "Perversion for Profit" (produced by Charles Keating of S&L scandal fame) , I learned among many other interesting facts that the blind seldom frequent nudist colonies, and that adult heterosexual men can be turned gay by looking at pictures of naked guys. Some of these films are very educational. In light of the "dating" thread, this one seems particularly useful: http://www.archive.org/details/WhattoDo1950 Enjoy. Best, George

Ah! The foreigners put on such airs Wearing the tangerine suits And their harlequin eyes. The pain they inspire Draws in harmonica melodies And the feathers of birds Which flame up at their touch. It all comes to light in the sheer Debonair. (Ellen)

Religion and sex are powerplays. Manipulate the people for the money they pay. Selling skin, selling God, the numbers look the same on their credit cards. Triptans cause rebounds. Learn it, believe it, live it. I use triptans as the absolute LAST RESORT when treating my CH.

Great stuff. I have dialup so It will take me some time to view this stuff. God I'm old. I remember a lot of this stuff too. "Duck and Cover" is a favorite. There's one that I remember that asked us if we were Communists by saying "I'm a good American; by the way: Are you?" It had a silly jingle too. Anyone remember: "I Led Three Lives?" I seem to recall that it was Richard Carlson as the star. Charlie
