Rosy, thank you so much. Maxine is my IDOL! I love every word out of her mouth, and she is ME.
I'm heading out Friday morning to the mountains (near Asheville) to spend Mother's Day weekend with Amanda, Jason, and beautiful baby Delia. I can't wait.
And, for those asking, here are a couple of pics we took a few weeks ago on Delia's first boat ride.

It was a glorious day for a boat ride. We stayed inland and just cruised around the intercoastal and the islands, stopping at Daufuski (sp?) Island for lunch, then began heading back. All of a sudden, the wind picked up and the temperature dropped about 10 degrees. What was nice, calm inland water became very rough white caps. We put Delia in her little life jacket (that was hysterical because it's the smallest jacket available and was still too big), put her in her car seat which we had taken on board, and put the car seat in a little cubby hole compartment under the driver's seat. She was out of the wind and the spray. She slept like a log while the rest of us were freezing cold and soaking wet.
It was a very interesting trip, putting that mildly.
