Sad news... from Ree

My sister in law Doreen lost her battle with Cancer today. She was 51. She was fortunate enough to die in the comfort of her own home surrounded by family members. She was the only love of my brother Kevin for 35 years, they were child hood sweethearts. He is devistated. Please remember him in prayer. oh and please consider not smoking... those who love you would appreciate it. (you know who you are... yes I am talking to you!...) I wrote this for Doreen, I wanted to present it to her BEFORE she died. I gave it to her and she made my nephews girlfriend read it to her twice a day. She loved it and I hope you do too... love ree If If I could find Gods book of life, Of days left for my soul, I'd share those precious days with you, Together we'd grow old. Though time would still pass quickly, we'd hold on to each day. And never waste a minute, get up fast and stay up late. If miracles could grow on trees, we'd climb the highest limbs, And use up all those miracles, while dancing in the wind. We'd gaze upon the ocean. Each tiny grain of sand. Every wonder of God's Earth, we would now understand. Then when we were ready, but not until we're done, We'd walk away together, into the setting sun... But, God he has a different plan, of days left planned for you, And dreams of dancing in the wind, must, in our dreams, come true. We'll walk together in our dreams, And there we will not part. Though I can't share my days with you, You know you own my heart. finished by Ree 4/24/08 (c) Annmarie Theriault April 24,2008

Ree that was beautiful and I wish I could see better through tears trying to type this. I'm glad you all had the time together to tell each other how much you loved each other and what differences you had made in each others lives. I know for one, that mine is so much richer for knowing you. I too would just like to say - I've lost enough people I love to lung cancer. Enough family members and enough friends. It's an evil disease With condolences and much love to you and yours Helen xxx
