They just announced a Tornado Warning for Payne County Oklahoma. I was watching on television as the storm that's heading this way dropped a funnel about halfway to the ground, then picked it back up. Hell of a time to live in a trailer park, eh? Prayers and vibes welcomed.

Well, they were hitting all around, a couple to the South a few to the Northeast, but nothing came close to us, thank goodness. We got some quarter to baseball size hail, but that's about it. There's still a chance for storms to refire as the cold front passes through, but it's crystal clear outside right now. Such is life in Tornado Alley. Thanks for the well wishes. Jimi, tell Ruth that Jane says she can't wait to hit the shops with her and Bente again. Oh, my aching wallet! LMAO

Keep your powder and more importantly, yourself dry. This is boring town but you're welcome here. Last tornado was 1945. Of course you have to like to shovel snow....lots of it. Hold on Mike and head for the Gator bunker. Charlie

Glad to hear you all are doing okay, Mike. It's been quite a few years since I lived in Tornado Alley, but it's not something you ever forget. Best, George

| Oh dear, I forgot… the English can’t understand english. In Oklahoma City it simply says: “Tornado Shelter”. In Heathrow it would have to say: Ummmm, pardon, errrr, PARDON! Should you blokes and bints detect a frightful windage, trundle oneself immediately to this loo. Noooo, tea will NOT be served. That’s pee, NOT tea. Keep yur gob shut and your knickers in a knot. Once the “all clear” has sounded , GER OUT! ya balmy buggers.
