needing lots of prayers and ...update

My friends I know the miracles this place can do...I need your help one more time...
My Granpa turned 90 on the 26th and my family had a big party for him but...He did not enjoy a bit of it because He is in a severe depresion...
last night they took him to the hospital because he has not eaten or drunk anything in a couple of days...
They are tube feeding him and I just tried to spoke to him on the phone, He says He is too old and too tired  , he does not feel like talking, he has his eyes closed all the time...
The doctors are doing all sorts of test but they can find anything really wrong with him, He is just depresed..
Please, please I ask you guys for lots of prayers and vibes for him to get over this horrible situation..
He is the only father I know and I feel terrible because I can't run to be at his side right now
I will appreciate with all my heart your help...

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

Poor guy - i'll definitely be praying for him.
Is he on any anti-depressants? Like Cyn said, maybe he'll start feeling better after some food gets into his system.

I am not sure of this, but My Mom told me the Doctors gave him something now and they are keeping him in check because of his age.
He suffered prostate cancer but He is in remission. The problem he has is that some years ago He had an accident and broke his right leg in several parts and he never recover from it so He is in a wheelchair...being the active and independent man he was, the situation has taken its toll on him  ...
He also has some BP problems but the Doctor is worry because He says a severe depresion on someone his age can be very dangerous ...
Thank you again my friends, I will be calling him again tomorrow, maybe He will want to talk to me this time..
