My wife left me and the boys….

This morning when I and the boys got up Marta (my wife) was not to be found she has left us…………….. some stuff of hers was missing… and a suitcase…. She has left me and the boys alone…… and took the train / plane to Düsseldorf In Germany for a Trade show (Interpack) And now I have to (try) and take care of the 2 brats….. ( ) some thing my training didn’t include or my expiriens didn’t tech me…. well I wonder how long it will be befor they manage to get me “on the tree” ( ), they are working hard to do it, but I still manage to keep my self in line, It even crossed my head to put 2 studs (Nails) into the wall and hang them, but then I will get into trouble with Marta, ( ) and she calls every 4 hours to see if the boys are still “living”, that is how much she trusts me…… I wonder why…. Lukyly it will be over on May 1st. Michael

Several years ago my wife had a chance to ride with some friends to visit her parents, but I couldn't get off work. When I went to church on Sunday a couple of gossips wanted to know if Linda was sick. Knowing their liking to have a good story I just told them that she had gone home to her mother's. They wanted to know if I wasn't upset. I said "No, I even helped her pack." The next Sunday she was home again, and no sooner had she walked in the door tothe church and about six women surrounded her telling her how happy they were that we were back together! Of course I had "neglected" to mention to her what had happened! Enjoy the time with the kids. I always have a good time with mine if Linda is gone for a day or two. It just kind of changes the atmosphere around the house for a little bit, but I AM glad to see her home! Jerry

Boy this kind of make you appreciate your wife doesn't it. I haven't tried leaving yet, but my time is coming in July. Even though it's for a short time I can't wait. Maybe you should have a nice dinner, flowers and a nice bubble bath for her when she gets back. And remember don't hurt those kids to bad. Pat

We hear your cry, Michael, and we'll help in any way we can but please understand that we're not doctors here and certainly don't do diagnoses over the internet. Nevertheless, it certainly sounds like that dread disease - duster headaches! It's far more common in women than men (perhaps you're in touch with your feminine self) and commonly manifests in dishphobia, serial hair-pulling and an uncontrollable desire to employ a French maid. Treatment options are few but the most successful to date involves locking the children in the closet and spending the evening at the nearest pub. Hope this helps, B.

Oh Hell do what Buddy did when I would go off and leave the kids with him. He did nothing around the house. He took them out for Pizza, and hamburger's, and they watched horror movies. They ate junk food for Breakfast. Then the day before I would get home they straighten up the house. There is a difference between straightening and cleaning. I would Bitch and Moan because the house wasn't clean, but I would give him a big hug and some ...well anyway for being a good dad and making sure the kids had a good time and were ok.

It's male bonding time, my friend. Pizza, burgers, potato chips, sugary, highly caffeinated soda, action movies, horror movies, burping, farting, scratching - you get the picture. Maybe even go write your names in the snow - in yellow. I guarantee your boys will remember these times when the guys just got to be guys. One more thing - clean up after yourselves before Marta gets back.

Hmm, yeah... The pizza and burgers and horror movies. And the last-minute house-cleaning. That hit was uncomfortably close. Hope you and the kids have a great time, Michael. Best, George

Michael, Nice try, but you can't fool me... I stayed with you, Marta, JJ, and Ben, so know your house runs like a fine Swiss watch... I doubt Marta's business trip will pose any problems. Hmm... Let's see... The boys are already off to school by now so as long as you're off work and home alone... make time for a combat nap. V/R, Batch

on top off all the „fun“ I was called by school and they told me to come and get JJ from school, he is sick I was in the middle of working, and how much I love to be called in the middle, to drop every thing and run - Murphy’s Low So the Pizza that was planed for tonight at a close by restaurant is off, being pigs is off…. ( I was going to do all the stuff you have been posting the "man" night / time) will have to put some food on the table, and for JJ some sort of “healthy” food…. (so I can send him to school tomorrow) and I am left with the dishes…. and the clean up…… on the other hand I will let every thing for Marta to clan…. and I am going to sit and see “Man in trees” on TV
