Carolyn those are great shots!! I got a new camera last week(Fuji finepix s1000fd 10 megapixel) and have been a busy little shutterbug learning how to use it. Here are a couple of the better shots.
Can't wait until Dallas so you can give me some tips and tricks!!

I have a tripod, but I don't normally use it unless I'm shooting in low-light or something that is moving fairly fast.
Here are a few more pics.
These were taken on Bayou DeLoutre, which is listed as a national scenic waterway.
