We are Christian but will be joining our son-in-laws family for First Seder tomorrow night.

Will be interesting to learn their customs.

Happy Passover to you as well, Michael.

Unfortunately I will not be having a sedar at my house this year.  Too much stuff going on in my personal life.   Cry

Michael,

Happy Passover.

The plate in the third picture is beautiful.  What is it used for?
I hope you don't mind me asking but I'm always interested in learning more about other religions.

That looks like one of those plates for bitter herbs, for part of the Seder.

Ah! The foreigners put on such airs
Wearing the tangerine suits
And their harlequin eyes.
The pain they inspire
Draws in harmonica melodies
And the feathers of birds
Which flame up at their touch.
It all comes to light in the sheer
Debonair.

The Passover Seder Plate, Hebrew: ke'ara (קער&#1492Wink is a special plate containing symbolic foods used by Jews during the Passover Seder. Each of the six items arranged on the plate has special significance to the retelling of the story of the Exodus from Egypt, which is the focus of this ritual meal. The seventh symbolic item used during the meal — a stack of three matzos — is placed on its own plate on the Seder table.

below is a link with some info. about the Seder Plate....
