Paul, it's the fact you try that is so precious. Whilst the flowers are truly lovely, it's the thought behind it that makes me feel loved. When you picked those little tiny blackberries for me was just as wonderful. It's not spending money that makes people feel treasured, it's the thought and love behind the gesture that really makes the difference 
Oh and Andrew - thats not a "jug" you heathen - it's a Dartington Crystal vase. Plonker!  Have you been taking stupid lessons' from Ting Tong?
