The Battery is Out!! (Surgery now rescheduled)

I just got home from the neurosurgeon's office, and I found out that the new smaller battery for the occipital/supraorbital nerve stimulator came out today finally!! I am scheduled to have surgery on Tuesday the 22nd of April, and as of this morning, I figured we were going to be cancelling because the battery was still not out. Then I got the good news!!! I'm so excited right now that I'm like bouncing off the walls!! 
The only bad thing is that apparently now the hospital and the company that makes the battery have to go back and forth on the price of the battery, and this may prevent us from having the surgery on Tuesday and we'll have to push it back for a bit. I just emailed the company rep that I've been working with to see what he thinks. This is because I have to let work know by tomorrow if I'm going to be out starting the 22nd since I am out for 4-6 weeks and have to go on short-term disability.
Tomorrow morning I have preadmission testing and physical to make sure I'm fit for surgery.
Sooooooooooooo fingers crossed and say a few extra prayers that all this goes through so that I can have surgery on Tuesday!!! This might finally be the answer I've been hoping for for all my headache problems.

I just got home from the preadmission testing and I found out from the company rep that it is 99.9% NOT going to happen on Tuesday....
So as happy as I was yesterday is how upset I am today. Not to mention the preadmission testing was a HORRIBLE experience for a variety of reasons.
I just didn't need this on top of everything else lately..... I know it'll seem stupid to be in tears over something like this, but I am. I was looking forward to finally getting my life back from the mess that it has become.
Oh it'll happen eventually, but most likely not Tuesday, which means there are that many more shifts to get through and that many more days of bad pain where I force myself to smile and take care of other people while I feel like I'm dying inside. (I'm not trying to be dramatic - I'm just upset - and the clusters are bad, but besides them having this constant migraine that will not ever break - it's just been very tiring.)
I'm just very, very tired.
Anyway - thanks for all the well wishes. Guess it was a false alarm. Maybe next month I'll have the surgery, but if it gets pushed back farther than that and I have to go through all this preadmission testing again, I will NOT be happy...

The company rep said they are having a teleconference on Thursday to discuss distribution of the battery, and he will know for sure after that conference if Tuesday is a go or not. He was 99.9% sure it won't be able to happen Tuesday, though.
I just hope I don't have to go through preadmission testing again. It really was horrible. After a stressful and long day, I think that made me just that much more upset.
It'll all happen eventually - just have to be patient. Thanks for the support.
