El Cid. I haven't seen a film with him in that I haven't enjoyed. He was a legend and he is a loss. He gave so much pleasure to so many of us and I really feel saddened that he is gone. They just don't make them like that anymore. RIP Charlton - and thanks

I read this morning that he and his wife were married for 64 years. You don't normally hear that about Hollywood types. It's closer to 64 minutes!

Ben Hur and that awesome chariot race. All the good actors and actresses are dying off and all that's going to be left are the twits who get arrested on a regular basis, get divorced after 64 mins. like Pat said, go to rehab every month, and want billions for a two hour movie. Very sad that he is gone.

Don't tell anyone but I liked him in "Soylent Green" as well as anything. Not bad: Charlton Heston and Edward G. Robinson. Charlie

Great enough to do Moses, but normal enough to laugh at himself and do a bit part in Waynes World II. The guy was truly a class act! Guiseppi
