I'll have to take a look at it. I've read his memoir, "Where Rivers Change Direction", and enjoyed it. Just mentioned "Fruit of Stone" to EJ--she's apparently read it, and liked it a lot. Somehow I missed it when it was floating around here....well, we're going to the library today. Best, George

Ah! The foreigners put on such airs Wearing the tangerine suits And their harlequin eyes. The pain they inspire Draws in harmonica melodies And the feathers of birds Which flame up at their touch. It all comes to light in the sheer Debonair. (Ellen)

Just read Robin Cook's "Harmful Intent" (it was soso, but good enough to keep me reading) and Dean Koontz' "Whispers" (that was good, but I've read better) and also Steven King's (written as Richard Bachmen) "Blaze" (and that I really liked so much I plowed through it in 2 days, then again I was at the DMV and License plate place for the last 2 days) All three of these books I have read within the last 2 weeks. I'm going book crazy here!!!! I'm now reading "All around the Town" By Mary Higgins Clark. I need to get to the library soon

Ooohh... My favourite subject. I'm always looking for book recommendations! 2 good books I have read recently: - Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell
- All Fun and Games until Someone Loses an Eye - Christopher Brookmyre
I really love good ol' chick lit too (Shopaholic series) - please send me some recommendations!
