It is
today!
(Purim is a Jewish holiday that falls in between winter and spring. Purim can either fall on the 14th of Adar or the 15th of Adar, depending upon where you live. )

Time for Hamantashen
Mishloach Manot, (Shalach Monos) - Gift Baskets
Matanot LeEvyonim, Tzedakah, (Charity)
So we will have it with the boys-tomorrow…..
with all the goodies….. after B/F….. but we will not
go to the Sinagog (I still have the flu)

I'm still taken with the sufganiyot (sp?) that you posted about before! I love hearing about different foods and cultural associations. It's one thing I truly love about the internet, it makes the world more accessible and when we invite information into our homes via the internet we're more amenable to it. Who knows? Maybe THIS is how we'll combat prejudice for once and for all - gastronomically!
