Hi everyone!!! I have missed talking to everyone so much!! I haven't been completely out of the loop...I have been reading over my mom's shoulder after long days of school. Looks like some exciting things have been happening. Just wanted to let everyone know that I haven't disappeared. I've just been really busy! I'm in one of my busiest semesters of grad school right now. I am taking 15 graduate credits and earning my master's degree in teaching. Classes are late and a good drive away, then I make the same drive back the next morning to swim at 5AM! I've been doing well with CH...I get about a hit a week now and more shadows than I used to, but they are not so bad. I think they are like hits that are trying to happen but are controlled now. Since my CH is better, my asthma has been doing well, too. When the allergens got bad here recently I had a little flare (also midterm exam stress!) but no hospital, just a week of predniosne and some nebulizers. So.....hi....I am still keeping up with everyone even though I am not writing directly. I miss everyone though and I am going to make a huge effort to get back in the habit!!!!! Lisa

Hi Lisa!! I've missed you. Sounds like you have been busy as a bee lately. I just talked with my Mom and she said it's really windy down there today so I hope you are holding onto something to keep you grounded. We were planning on heading to S. Bethany to go to brunch with my family at Magnolias this weekend but plans have changed due to the snow that is heading this way Friday night into Saturday afternoon. We usually take the motorhome to Slower Delaware but motorhomes and snow are not good partners so we will be hanging up here for the weekend. If we are in your neck of the woods in the future, we'll be sure to give you and Mom a call so we can get together. Good to hear from you!! Hugs to you, Mom and Dad. Cyn

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.

Oh Lisa - I'm chuffed to bits for you! At your age you should be out enjoying yourself every minute of the day and I'm just so glad you are having some pain free time and you're able to. As long as you check in every so often for a quick update we'll forgive you. Goodness knows you've missed out on enough through this diabolical condition, enjoy every minute you can!! Helen
