Thanks to all of you. I had a really good day and finding all these well wishes near the end of it just tops things off nicely. Y'all sure know how to make a fella feel welcome.
I think the best gift of the day came from my new neuro whom I saw for the first time today... he gave me a prescription for O2! and I believe this means rapid abortative relief is just around the corner. I will be tapering off the Topamax over the next few weeks as he examines the headache's response to another preventative drug. He also order a thorough MRI. Anyway, he seems to know about headaches and listened to my history, so I'm optimistic that I got a good one to work with.
