Easter is coming - pics

Growing up in my house was far from normal, but Mom did encourage creativity. Every Easter we'd make Easter eggs and Mom would enter some of them in local egg decorating contests. Some of these were made by us kids, some by my mom and most are about 30+ years old. The last 4 are Ukrainian pysanky- made by me. They are faded from sunlight, but you'll get the idea. Thought I'd share and I hope you like them. http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m211/darryljen/eggs/?action=view& current=6efba078.pbw

Jen - you kids were really creative. I especially liked the Pysanky ones. I have 2 Pysanky eggs in my china cabinet that came from Ukraine about 40 years ago. Of course, they're wooden but so beautifully decorated. Thanks for sharing. Hugs Carol

Jen, thanks for sharing those pictures. Wow! It was great to get to admire those eggs - and take a little walk down the memory lane. I used to paint Easter eggs as well, but nothing as creative and talented. And none of those eggs were photographed; we just admired the eggs for a while before we broke the painted shields and ate them. Sanna
