A bottle of prevention...

Must surely be better than a 6-pack of cure and so, purely because I care so much for all human-kind, I did some deep and serious research in the pub yesterday arvo and the answer is all in the statistics. Over the years, thousands of people have variously brought beer to my house, or sent it, and not a one of them has gone on to develop this nightmare we endure. Not even those who've magnanimously bought the extra round when it was my turn have suffered so much as a Kip1! So here's your chance, folks, to immunise your loved ones in advance!!! Be the first one on your block to be able to yell from the roof-tops "I love my family so much I've sent beer vouchers to Australia so the beast can never knock upon their door!!!" But wait, there's more. Send this post to six of your friends and given the magic of the Weird Wired World we could even eliminate this scourge from the face of the earth. Get in now, strike while the beer is cold, and it's full steam ahead towards our cure!!! Posted only because I care, Brian the dry.

I saw an act of faith today. A man was on his knees, not in a pew in a Church, but in a garden planting seeds. ~~Unknown

I'd imagine those beer vouchers are just rolling in about now. Be assured that there are always a good number of cold Northwest microbrews chilling in the fridge for any Aussie who might wonder up around Idaho one day for a bit of trout fishing. Cheers! George

Ah! The foreigners put on such airs Wearing the tangerine suits And their harlequin eyes. The pain they inspire Draws in harmonica melodies And the feathers of birds Which flame up at their touch. It all comes to light in the sheer Debonair. (Ellen)
