One of my "other" kids...

....James, has been a part of our lives since we moved to Tappahannock. He's one of my "other" kids, I'm sure some of you know what I'm talking about.
He enlisted right out of high school, but always calls his "Mama" or when he's home he comes by to see us. He called me a couple months ago from Biloxi and told me that he was pretty sure he was being deployed to the sandbox soon. I told him, as I always have (along with my "other" son Joey) that they had to tell their commander that they couldn't go cuz "Mama said NO"
James is now serving in Iraq. No need to respond. Just prayers to keep him safe.
