Your mother has a second family that I hope someday you will get to meet. She is very important to all of us and we love her a lot. We have followed her pregnancy with you from the start and now today on Feb. 29th. you are here and healthy and we are all so happy for your "first" family.

And I thought that I came from a large family. Ava, we really think a lot of your mom. You are being born with two great parents. Your mom was not always old and cranky. She used to be young and beautiful and actually was pretty cool.

Welcome to the land of all the cheese, milk, sausage, and corn you can ever eat. You were born during the 10th snowiest winter on record. It won't always be this snowy and white. In about 6 weeks we have one day that's perfect and then it gets really hot for awhile. And then it snows again. . . . I suggest you move out of Wisconsin as soon as you are able - or at least move down here near us.
