Annette, don't worry, I'm not in cycle...yet.
Just a whole lotta shit piling up right now. I'm tired, in pain, tired, anticipating PPD AND my cycle, and am hoping to God it holds off for at least 2 weeks after I have my baby. I can't handle a newborn, vertigo, anxiety and CH's all at once. So I got that on my mind in addition to sitting around here with this big ass lump on my belly. I'm getting paranoid about her not being "ok", that something is going to be wrong with her.
OMG I'm a mess plus I'm not getting much sleep.
I can't be fucking cheery all the time!!!!

almost forgot to add acid reflux. Not that it matters, just thought I'd get it out on paper...er, black squiggles...
*sigh*

Things can get overwhelming Mel and you do have SOOO much on your plate right now.
You are most definitely not an attention seeker. We all love you and care for you and thats why we keep asking how you are doing.
The last few days of pregnancy are terrible. You feel so heavy and bloated, back pain leg pain tummy pain galore and you just cant get into a comfortable position! I remember asking my obstetrician to please do a caeserian because I couldnt cope anymore. He gave me this look which made me want to strangle him at the time ! 
And yes the looming fear that things might go wrong. However, thats just the products of a tired and worried mind. You know in your heart that Eva is just fine and she is just enjoying her warm, safe, comfy environment right now. She will come out soon enough.
Hang on there Mel, and pour it all out. Dont hold anything in because sharing will help make you feel better. You are surrounded by friends and family who do genuinely care here. Just be yourself, however you feel now, dont have to be upbeat and cheerful at all, we understand.

During my final days of pregnancy I found myself doing hideously mean things, like ripping all my hubbys popular mechanics magazines into tiny shreds and feeding them to the fire (that'll teach him to come near me with that thing again) I jumped up and down (but ended up just wetting my pants.) I went for a very bumpy boat ride-got seasick. Finally, when not another person on earth could stand to be around me, including myself, labor began.
I reiterated the threats about coming near me "with that thing" again.
Then my daughter was born.
Love at first sight and every single uncomfortable, irritated, bloated panicy moment was forgotten.
