It's been a while...

... since I last checked in here. I've been on holiday to Canada to visit my folks and had a blast but have missed reading the to-ings and fro-ings of everyone. BIG NEWS - No shadows or beastly visits for Hip hip hooray! I think the melatonin is really starting to do the job which is great. Thought I might have been in for one last week (felt the low rumblings), but half a can of red bull sent it packing. I had forgotten what it was like to get home from work and want to do things with my evenings and weekends - go to the gym, cook nice suppers, visit friends (and not have o2 on standby all the time!). It's great! I've even planned a weekend away with my OH to show my appreciation for all his support and fantastic-ness. So I'm sending this in the hope that I can share some of my pain-free vibes to you all as this board has helped me in some of my darkest hours. Wishing you all the same. Love Em

Thats great news, I have been pain free for nearly the same time as you, great isn't it but still have some shadows, though I don't think it will be long before they go as well

Emily, what great news!! So good to hear you are enjoying some PF time. It is nice to go out and do stuff but I still keep my o2 within sight even though I am out of cycle right now. Sounds like you enjoyed your visit to Canada with your folks. PF forever!!!!!

It is up to YOU to educate yourself and then help your doctor plan your treatment. If you just sit down in front of your doctor and say "make me better" you are setting yourself up for a great deal of pain.
