Why can't we lock that link at the top of the Getting to Know Ya thread, or the General Board or all the boards?? Seems we need a link up there to me, can we make that happen Deej or Steph? Sometimes I wonder about folks we never here from again. Thanks guys, Sean..........................................

I haven't read that page for a long time, but it sure gives accurate advice for the person dealing with someone who is having these thoughts. Sorry I don't know your name, no-one, but thanks for bringing that link up. I have just received a Certificate in Advanced Crisis Intervention and one for Grief Counseling thru our church and the Crime Intervention Unit of the (biggest city around here) Police Dept., and what they have taught is right on target with the advice on our page. Sean, your idea sounds like a good one.

Billy gave me the link to that page on a certain night back in July....and I still believe that it saved my life. Things happen for a reason....we're all here to support and carry each other through the rough times and also to celebrate the good times. I really think that page is a great resource.

I think that link would be a good link to have in the front along with all the other stuff on cluster Headaches but more toward the back just because hope is the key. But support is out there if they need it to and we are here to help them find it so answers is what we want to provide them. Good idea..

May I also be allowed to slip in a reminder here that there is the OUCH UK Helpline for UK sufferers (I only say UK because our health system and drugs and advice are very UK specific) manned by very knowledgeable and sympathetic sufferers: Helpline 01646 651 979 [from overseas +44 1646 651 979] It isn't instantly answered 24 hours a day but we call back within a very short space of time. I'd like to put in a shamless plug in here for Family Services. I have 3 other educated and caring people on my team and I have no hesitation on giving out my phone number and do so often. We may not have all the answers but we do have good ears for listening as well as tons of information at our fingertips to give out for specific needs. calientev8@sbcglobal.net

Get a Doctor to give you this treatment and follow these directions and your CH problem is over. 1000 mg B-12 shot in the muscle 80 mg Kenolog shot deep into the muscle 40 tabs. 100 mg Cafergot to be taken 4 ea day for 10 days Then follow up ea. month with 25 mg kenolog shot and 1000 mg B-12 I started having Horton Cluster Headaches when I was 17 yrs. and I'm 67 now and have taken this for years and years and I was having up to 10 headaches a day and I have not had a headaches for years. I still feel a very slight pain in the area when it is about time for the shots. Also do not take any vitamin "E" or any that contains it as that is one of the very things that I have found over the years that bring the CH on This treatment was prescribed for me in 1973 by the Mayo Clinic of Rochester, MN The Mayo Drs. said the blood vessels inside my skull was not expanding enough to allow the blood flow that was trying to get through there. There is anecdotal evidence to suggest that CH decreases with age. Cafergot is an old treatment for CH which is not front line anymore and since 1973 it has been found that CH acts by increasing the size of the blood vessels in your brain by up to 20X. What we need to get rid of the pain is vaso constrictors which reduce that swelling. When was the last time you actually saw a neuro?

| I need to add something that I already said, as well as Cathi, my teammate also said. Any and all calls for help that we recieve , we follow HIPPA guidelines, in that we honor and respect each and every request we get with privacy. This is true for every member of my team. myself, Svenn, Jackie and Cathi. calientev8@sbcglobal.net
