Remember those pesky chest pains. Well they developed into a pesky case of walking pneumonia with a side order of bronchitis.

Anyone ever done a Z-Pack?

You talkin' about Azithromycin, or Zithromax? I've done 'em a number of times.

You take a double dose the first day, then single doses for the next 4-6 days?

I have had it for bronchitis.  It is wonderful stuff, since I can't remember to take antibiotics twice a day for two weeks. Works great!

You will start feeling better very soon - as soon as 48 hours sometimes.

That all depends on how much you smoke.  Wink

Pnuemonia and Bronchitis. Mind as well throw in a good old Kip 9 and make it a hat trick.

Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly, Chewy.  I did the Z-Pack the last time I had pneumonia.  It didn't clear it up all the way, but I felt a hell of a lot better.  A second round of antibiotics kicked it to the curb.

Good luck.

The Z pack beats those 2 week courses of anti-biotics. Relief is quicker, and not every single living organism in your body is killed.

Of course, you've gotta figure out how to lay off the ciagrettes until this clears up. You're just gonna make things worse.

If you're not significantly better when the meds are gone...get yer ass back to the dr asap.

Feel better.

hugs, nani

Seriously, there should be no interaction between the antibiotic and a cough suppressant.

I took a z-pack for a sinus infection just before the surgery, it worked for me and I hope it kicks the bug's butt for you too.
