Surgery on Wednesday - Prayers Please

Hello fellow Clustervillains:
I’ve been having nausea and pain from my gallbladder for a few months now. Since Christmas, I’ve been to the ER 4 times with pain. I’m having it taken out on Wednesday. Although the time of the surgery is to be announced, I would appreciate it if you could pray and/or send warm fuzzy thoughts my way.
This surgery is done some 500,000 times per year in the US, and should be no big deal. However, I don’t have the “faith” in doctors that I once had. Cluster Headaches and their treatment have removed most of my “faith” in them.

Ray - you'll feel so much better once it's done. No more of those gut wrenching attacks!
Both my daughters and my mate have had theirs out and it's a fairly simple procedure. It's day surgery here -go in in the morning and home before dinner time.

Lot's of prayers and warm fuzzy slippers thoughts for a successful surgery and speedy recovery.
My 78 year old aunt had it done after Thanks Giving... in and out of the hospital and back to her regular routine in no time at all.

You will feel so much better afterwards, no more pain, no more nausea and you will be able to eat well again, although you need to steer clear of fatty food.
Do the doctors there give the patients the gallstones in a jar for a souvenir?

This surgery may be done 500,000 times a year but this is the first time it's being done to you. I think a little anxiety is normal. Relax and let the Drs and (more importantly) the nurses take care of you.
In the mean time I'm making deposits in the VIBE bank with your name on then Should the need arise for you to make a widthdrawl.

Ditto this!!
Had mine out in 2000 when I was 25 (I think, lol). You'll be fine!
BTW, when I had my attack, it felt like my lungs had collapsed and I drove myself to the ER because my dear, darling idiot of a husband would rather sleep (long story). 
Anyway, turns out I had a gallstone the size of a grapefruit! No wonder it hurt so bad! They sent me home that night after the attack had passed and I was scheduled to have it out the next morning. General anesthesia, 3 small incisions and I was home within a couple hours after the procedure. Never felt better!
