Yup my kid wouldn't have been seen with me on TV after that, even if I didn't take away her car... Whats with the people that want that 5 mins of fame for stupid things. How many other Moms and Dads in the country take away their kids cars and sell them... lots and lots... I bought one car like that from a man who said that his son was in college and he didnt need a car anymore. The grand dad had given it to him... I loved that car it had a mere 9 thousand miles on it when the father sold it to me. I felt so guilty buying that car... for about 5 minutes.
I sincerely think she was a good mom to stick to it but that it didnt deserve notoriety... there are plenty other good parents out there doing bigger and better things for the welfare of the world and their kids... besides, it wasn't his booze ( like I believe that one) I'm sure they are making fun of that kid like crazy. That will be punnishment enough for him I am sure...
