Hi Everyone,
I just got back some recent pics today, and I thought I'd share some of them with you all! Hope you enjoy! Also, I'm not sure if I've posted pics of my boyfriend Jason here before, so now you'll get to "meet" him through his pic at least!  The Nurses' Ball pics that I posted was mine and Jason's first formal event together, which was a lot of fun! Hope I didn't post any of these before! I can't remember!

Thanks Sean! We are!! We're actually planning to move into an apartment together in August/September. We've been together for 7 months now, which is actually a long-term relationship for me! We just fit very well together, and he has been very understanding of all that I've been through. I'm really looking forward to us living together since we don't get to see each other nearly enough now! He's a physical therapist, and our schedules just don't always line up since we both work long days.
It's just so nice to have things settling in my life.

Thanks everybody.
It is nice to finally BE happy!! A couple of nights ago, I went grocery shopping with Jason (after we went to Borders together), and he helped me bring in the groceries. That was so nice - I haven't had anybody to help me do the boring normal stuff of life in such a long time until Jason. It's just fun to do every day type stuff together. I actually look forward to getting home quickly after work so that we can have dinner together many nights and just spend time together. We don't go out and do much because neither one of us has much money to spare, but we just enjoy each other's company. Sure, we fight about little stuff, too - but we're really close....closer than I would have thought I could get to somebody, especially after 7 months!

Oh and on the cat - since a few of you commented on that, and I failed to share the whole story... Jason is actually really allergic to Tony - whenever Jason comes over to my apartment, he ends up sounding like he's having an asthma attack and is sick with a very bad cold. It really makes him feel miserable! Tony is also a very bad cat sometimes - he bites and can be rather rambunctious - don't be fooled by how cute he is in pics! Yes, he is very snuggly when he wants to be, but he also is a wild maniac, which is how he got the nickname, "Spawn of Satan". However, no matter how bad he is, he is my baby, and I love him and couldn't part with him EVER.
Jason is constantly saying how we are going to give Tony away because he's allergic to him and because Tony is bad. But then Jason loves it when Tony gives him "kisses" and sleeps on him when he's laying on the couch. So deep down, I know that Jason loves Tony, too and that he wouldn't really want to give him away, even if he won't admit that!! I told Jason that before we even consider giving Tony away, we would have to deep clean the apartment, wash the cat with this defurminator stuff and brush him with this comb that is supposed to get out all the pet dander, and also have Jason go to an allergist and exhaust all the possibilities - not just try one thing! He seems agreeable to this so far! haha
In the end, we will not be giving up my baby. I don't think Jason really wants to get rid of Tony, no matter what he says! My favorite thing in the world is when Jason and I are laying on the couch and then Tony comes up and lays with us. That is so great.
So yeah - Jason likes Tony. haha

Loratadine and frequent hand washing, Carrie. It should make things bearable for Jason. I am allergic to cats, but found I could co-exist if I made sure to wash my hands after touching them, and took anti-histimines when things were tough.
He might even de-sensitize himself with enough exposure.
Spawn of Satan... I had a cat like that once.

Shaun was not all that happy with cats when we first got together. Told me he was deathly allergic. But now he cant imagine life without our furry friends. Shaun even makes a point to sit right in his recliner chair so that our "Teek" can jump us and curl up by his leg while watching tv.
It is just a matter of washing like nani said and taking an anti-histamine when needed.
It is nice to just have someone who is a part of your life. Someone who does not ask for special time, just makes normal time special.

This brings back some memories about my cat allergy...
What's different for me is that while allergic to the seven cats my friend had; after about 10 days staying with them, I got used to them and had no trouble. I also found that another friend's Siamese didn't bother me. I never understood this.

I was really allergic to dogs when I bought Peanut...now that was crazy. I mean I was allergic to any dog dander. So I called the health food store to see if they had anything and this guy said they had these drops you put under you tongue and after about a week your body would build the antibodies or whatever it was that you needed so that your body wouldn't react to the dander....that's because the drops actually had cat and dander in it....  But it worked.
