For Charlotte - kids paintings

I have been showing the children Charlotte's paintings for a long time now and recently Andy ( 8 ) wanted to do the same. I got him some acrylic paints and some brushes and off he went. This is what he has produced so far I think they are pretty good but then a mother is always biased when it comes to her kids so critics please Thanks Charlotte for having inspired the kid!

Just looking at the brilliant colors tells me he's a happy kid! What's really sad is he's 40 years younger then me and leaps and bounds ahead of me in talent!!!! Guiseppi

Oh come on Joe, I am sure if your wife let you loose with a paint brush and some paint you could do a pretty good job repainting the house

When I saw the heading of this post I thought it was for me. I teach elementary art. I opened it and then I understood why it was for the other Charlotte. I especially love the last one, all of the detail and the bright colors. I love when parents give their kids materials and opportunities for art outside my classroom. And by the way Guiseppi, it's never too late for an adult ed art class Charlotte

Hi Andy. I like your pictures. My favorite is the sun, as well. I like the yellow sky...it makes me "see" how bright the sun is. I teach art to children, too and I think your work is very good. Keep it up!

These are so cool!! I love it when kids do art projects...your boy did a really good job Annette!! Please tell him that I said so. My daughter Liz is really into art as well. She loves to draw and is quite good doing it freehand and recently got into painting herself. The other night I caught her painting with a couple of her nailpolishes...lol. I asked her why and she said "well the nailpolish doesnt stay on my fingers really well so Im painting with it" So she painted a pretty sparkly butterfly...lol GREAT JOB ANDY...KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!
