Groov, You just described the California ballot when Ahnold was elected. Except we also has a prostitute and a pot farmer. I kept the sample ballot as a souvenir. By gosh, I love this country! Kathy (the voter formerly known as a Republican, then a democrat, then an independent)

| I liked the spin this morning the way it was said made it look like hillary walked away with it. "Obama edged out edwards by 8 points, and hillary was only 1 point back from that. While huckabee blew away all the others, the closest was 9 points back." Now correct me if I am wrong bu doesnt that put billary 9 back too? Mike

Just think, these people have already spent a year campaigning, now there is still a year of campaigning left. Aren't they elected officials? Aren't they supposed to be doing their jobs? Two years of drumming up money and doing little of anything else. Our political system is BROKEN, severely. And they are ALL millionaires.

This is ridicoulus. We are spending 12 billion dollars for Iraq per MONTH and Obama wants to shut down US Space Program to save 8 billion dollar total cost for the new spacecraft that would fly yeeeears to come. Most of the science and technology that we have today come from space program. What an uneducated candidate.

| talk about an a$$hole for a candidate... ole huck wants to impose a 23% sales tax on EVERYTHING!!! and... he also made a little innuendo about sending everyone with HIV to their own little concentration camp. Sounds to me like a vote for Huck is a vote for a fascist theocracy!!! edited to add this http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/12/10/huckabee.aids/#cnnSTCVideo

Huckaby scares the living daylights out of me. I'd cross party lines to keep him out of officeHis record on illegal immigration isn't exactly stellar either. Wha'ts funny, is that on his website, he talks about getting tough companies hiring illegals. There are a lot of processing plants and chicken houses in AR. Both tend to hire without documenting where their employees are from or they don't do a very thorough check. Huckabee knew all about it and didn't take a very firm stance. hitlery will probably pick back up with the New Hampshire caucus.

Tony......unless I am mistaken Huckabee is pro "fair tax". Rather than attempt to explain the plan here I'll provide a link for those interested in learning about said plan. In a lot of ways it makes more sense than what we have now. http://www.fairtax.org/site/PageServer As for his stand on HIV, if that is his stand I have no use for him. B

| Yeppers Bill... that's the nightmare I was talking about... and if you read... it's not really a 23% tax... it's more like a 30% tax on nearly everything. In the long run... the pushers of this plan... the multi millionaires will end up paying far less in taxes and as always the real burden will rest on the shoulders of the ever shrinking "middle class". Even conservative republicans call this "Fair Tax" or national sales tax plan a "Crack Pot" scheme. Imagine... add 30 cents onto every dollar spent. a gallon of milk going for $4.00 will now cost $5.20 ... Of course the arguement is that prices of goods will come down... LOL.... Roflmao... Bwahahahahahaha!!! yep, and money will begin to grow on trees.

| That is the plan Jonny... no mo income tax. instead initially you will pay 30% more on everything you buy. Of course that may not be so bad if you're making millions. The fair tax plan also proposes a prebate for the poor (a 1 or 200 check in the mail every month) to offset the tax. This will create one of the largest welfare systems ever. So in the long run cutting out the IRS will actually create a need for two additional bureaucracies. A mega-welfare system and tax evasion task force that will make the IRS look like a two man band. Of course as the plan moves along groups will lobby for tax exemption... which will drive the flat sales tax up even higher... some project up to 55 and 60% and when that happens... everyone trys to evade taxes. You are essentially looking at a plan that will usher us into the ranks of a third world country. DO NOT LET THE ALLURE OF NO INCOME TAX FOOL YOU!!! The middle class and small business owner will end up being crushed under the tax weight and the poor and wealthy won't be contributing much to the overall burden.

Is there a Fair tax web site for dumbbies? If that is his stand of HIV, he can kiss my ass if I vote for him though. The sad thing is that some of the religious right will follow him to hell if he touts that, people like my parents.
