A good man who was blessed with great wealth was approaching the end of his life. He decided that he would not leave his treasure behind when he was finally called home. So he spent the last years of his life liquidating all of his assets and converting them into gold. His intention was to have it all buried with him so he could take it to heaven and give it to God when he got there. Finally the inevitable occurred and as per his request all of his fortune in gold was put into sacks and placed in the ground with him. He approached the gates of heaven dragging behind him the massive fortune of gold, which was what he had spent his life's work accumulating. He was eager to present it to God as a gift. Finally he reached the gate and was greeted by Saint Peter who asked his name and checked to see if he was on the "list". Saint Peter found his name and welcomed him into the gates of heaven and asked him "what" was in the bag. The man proudly replied " I was a good, God fearing man all of my life. I worked very hard and became very wealthy with the intention of giving it all to God.Towards the end of my life I had everything converted to gold and now I would like God to have this." Saint Peter scratched his head and said "Well this is most unusual, but I'm sure that God will be delighted with your gift of pavement.

| Saint Peter aint the only one scratching his head How's it going Antonio, I don't get it mate. Was the gift pavement because in heaven the pavement is made of gold or was the pavement made by the man dragging his gold along the ground??? Sorry to be awkward but it was leading up and then "pavement". Maybe the CH's have cocked up my brain a bit but a bit of explanation wouldn't go astray. Cheers mate.
