GREATEST INVENTIONS

Several scientists were travelling around the world together on a train. The three most outstanding ones were from Germany, America and China. To kill some of the idle time they started bragging to one another about their latest inventions. To prove his point, the German scientist put his arm out the window for a few minutes, then took it back in, looked at the watch and announced : " Its 22.265 degree outside". The others asked him how did he know. " Oh, I built this special watch that has a digital thermometer in it, its the first in the world". The others studied his watch with great interest. Not to be outdone, the American scientist put his arm out the window also for a few minutes. He then looked at his watch and announced : " There are weapons of mass destruction nearby". Astonished, the others looked out the window and saw 2 army men with rifles. "How did you know" they asked. The American scientist explained that he had a weapon detector built in to his watch. The others were suitably impressed with this wonderful invention. The Chinese scientist also put his arm outside. He then looked at his watch, gave a big sigh and announced : " We have now crossed into the border of China". Amazed, the others asked him how could he tell that just from looking at his watch. He explained :" Well, I was wearing a Tagheur, within the few minutes that I had my arm outside, they managed to take the watch off, made an exact copy of it and put the copied one back on my wrist" !
