We will be 4 people from Italy at the Vancouver Convention. We have booked the tickets today (very few seats in September!!!!! ) We will be Piera, Sten (Stefano), Davide and this serial kisser..... But.... there is a but... the ticket (no other way) is for Toronto only. I have taken a look at the fares.... $500 (US $!!!) from Toronto to Vancouver (round trip)!!! Is this fare right? Any suggestions for these poor WOPs? Margi? Bonnie? Doug?

Hi Riccardo, I just searched for flights from Toronto, Canada (YYZ) to Vancouver BC, Canada (YVR) on www.travelocity.com and found one for $315 USD. Take Care and God's Speed to you, Ted

If you can get to Ottawa instead of Toronto, you can book yourself on Westjet or Tango (both discount airlines within Canada) - they only depart out of Ottawa or Hamilton in Ontario, but their faires are WAY cheaper. Riccky, you SHOULD be able to fly direct to Vancouver - I don't understand that. Or at least to one of the Western provinces such as manitoba, saskatchewan, alberta or B.C. I would think it would be cheaper. I'll have a look around and see what I can find for you. Be patient.

Riccky, I just checked Expedia.ca (the Canadian version of Expedia.com) and found you flights departing from Torino, Italy via Lufthansa, connecting through Frankfurt then direct into Vancouver for $1399.23 CANADIAN, return. You don't need to go through Toronto at all. That's about $800 U.S. dollars I think. You might be better off to try to book these flights in Canadian dollars. go to: www.expedia.ca and then put in Torino as your departing city, and Vancouver (YVR) as your destination and see what happens. The first flight that comes up is at that price I mentioned above.
