Goodbye to a friend (non-CH)

A good friend of mine, Eddie Stahl passed away over the holliday weekend...

He worked for us for quite some time, and was quite talented with his hands... he could win a round of Junkyard Wars of Monster Garage by himself....

... he was apparently depressed for some time, without telling anyone, and he was known to drink heavily, despite having a bad liver.  Toward the end he was consuming a fith of 1800 and two cases of beer a day...

He drank himself to death... and was found in his home.

If you know anyone going through depression, let them know you care, especially if you suspect substance abuse.

Goodbye, Eddie.  You'll be missed.

-Daniel

Sorry for your loss. Holidays do this a lot of the time.

Depression during the holiday season is prevelent with CH also.

I agree, if you see someone going through depression - do something and don't wait.

Again, sorry for your loss.

Hugs BD

Sorry to read of your loss Dan.  Depression is such a slow, silent killer.
