Now that I dragged you into this thread I want to ask you a question....
I recently was limited to 8 mins of internet time before i had to reboot.....reading this board can not be done that way....it was killing me.
Question: How nuts would you go if you couldnt reach this board for a week straight?
I was lucky that I had the 8 mins between reboots, cause I would have killed something if I didnt.
One request.......give me a FUCKENEH

My crusty old 'puter crashed last Sunday (the day b4 they turned on my DSL ) and with the help of some geekier minds than mine we couldn't get it do anything.
I'm able to get online at work but it just ain't the same so by Tues I was jonesin' so bad I went to Best Buy and bought a smokin' new 2.8GHZ Athalon...guess where the first place I came when I was up and running again?

I havn't missed a day that I remember, there is always somewhere to get on, now with multiple puters on DSL I shoulldn't have a problem,
Cathy, are you for real, I did a quick search and it is a real problem but any antiviral should fix it, I could'nt find it on norton though.

I had a trojan virus also, kept kicking me off internet explorer. Tried my damnest to figure it out myself. Then I talked to Svenn and he gave me a link to a spyware blaster type thing and my pc is fine now. It's free and incase you want to give it a try....... http://www.webroot.com/wb/products/spysweeper/index.php
Just when you are finished with your scan, uncheck alexa (might have toolbar after it) or you will end up deleting internet explorer (I did that myself LMAO)

If it's spyware get Spybot
It replaces Alexa so it thinks it is already installed, if removing alexa removed IE then it was badly infected.

Look like that sometimes on he way home.............I remember me an Jimmy drivin homeone night and him nonchalantly mentioning he couldn'g see "a g oddam thing" ..........LOL. OMG Thomas - I needed that laugh this morning. But I think that was sharing a bit toooo much.
I normally do not stop by during the weekend. My kids keep me to ocupied to even think abut logging ontot he CPU. And if I do it is normally to play EQ for a bit and forget about the real world. But first thing as soon as I get in Monday morning you are the first place that I go. And the last thing that is up on my cpu as I leave each day.
I just can't deal with not knowing how you all are doing.
