My mom passed away last night, about 11:40.  My dad and I were with her.  It seems every time I post I have nothing good to say, so sorry for that.  I am running on very little sleep, so I am pretty numb at the moment.  I'm 17, for those who don't know me.  I have a younger sister who is 11.  My grandparents have been staying with us throughout the course of my mom's treatments for her cancer.  She had adnocarcenoma, with no known origin.  This spread rapidly throughout her body.  My dad is very depressed, along with my grandparents, and my sister has been crying a lot.  I am alright for the time being I think.  Hit a k9 really fast last night, but was able to get rid of it within the hour.  I have taken a lot of time off of school, and won't go back for the remainder of the term.  Sorry if this is unclear or odd, I can't think too straight.  It's funny how you think you have all the time in the world to do or say whatever you need to.  I have been trying to get myself prepared for this time, and I thought I was for a while, but you can never get yourself prepared for this sort of thing.  I just needed to type this all out, and thankyou for listening.  Also, thankyou to those of you who have been continually supportive through all of this.  I love you guys.

Aw Cassi....I am so very very sorry.   Sad

You've been through hell and back through all these months, I don't think you could've managed better than you have been doing. I'm so sorry for slacking on the communication,  I would hope that anything you need you know you can ask - and I mean that.

Whatever time you shared with your mom, hold on to the things you shared, and the memories you made, and know that she will always be in your heart and watching over you.

Cassi, I'm really sorry sweetie, so much to say and yet no way to say it.  Hold on tight to your loved ones and all the love around you.

I'll be praying for you... I'm only an email or phone call away kiddo.

Hugs,
Pepp

Hi Cassi I am so very sorry to hear about your mother.  I am the oldest of four, I'm 26 my brother is 17, my sisters are 18 and 24.  Our mother passed a little more than 2 yrs ago.  I feel your pain and if you ever want to talk you feel free to email me.  Also if you want to talk with someone your age who knows what you are going through I can give you my brother and sisters email address.  I can imagine this feels very surreal to you and for me that was the hardest part...just accepting the fact that she is gone.  You just know that you and your family are in many ppls thoughts and prayers right now.  And you remember your mother is now at peace.

Cassie, I am so sorry.  I'll keep your family in my prayers.  Loosing a mother is something I cannot comprehend, I still have mine.  I've experienced lots of losses in life, but I still have my mom to cry to.  I'll be holding you and your family in my heart tonight.

Cassi,
I am sorry to hear the end finally came, I was hoping for your family to have a better outcome. I felt bad that I couldn't help you much but I am glad to hear you had other support. I will be praying for your family and for you to get some PF time soon.

Cassi, I am so sorry that you and your family are having to go through this.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.  If there is anything I can do to help.....please let me know.  I know that life sometimes sucks and seems so unfair, but I remember you telling me about how much pain your Mom was in.....just try as hard as you can to think of her at peace now.  She will always live on in your heart.

It really does get better.  Your mom will always be with you in your heart and in your memories.  That saying that time heals all wounds is very true, it will take alot of time but that horrible hurt you feel will be less and less consuming over time.

I am so sorry about your loss.
I was just cleaning out a file of cards and clippings before i came on this site and came across this clipping, I don't know where it came from, but I think it is really appropriate to share it with you!   I hope you get the same feeling!

When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see: If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today, While thinking of the many things we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me, as much as I love you. And each time you think of me I know you'll miss me too:
But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand. and said my place was ready in heaven far above and that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love. But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye for all life, I'd always thouight I didn't want to die. I had so much to live for and so much yet to do, it seemed almost impossible that I was leaving you. So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think were far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right here in your heart.

I think this is from your mom!
