If, if you are a true baseball fan you would admit that the Yankees have some fine players many of whom were bought from other teams (I.E. Mussina and Wells). The only reason to hate someone like Jeter is because he is the best SS in MLB.
I do not like the Yankee fans in the Baltimore area; they are most obnoxious. NewYorkers, on the other hand, are great. I just don't like the fans...

And I do not HATE any one player (if I need to go into this again). But that is another story. They (the Yankees) are a team and an institution. I have great loathing for THAT. Because I love (like a beautiful child) my Red Sox.
I am filled with rage.
But I do think you missed my point on the "I know you are..." thing. I am a lot lighter about this than you think.
