I REALLY threw my lower back out this week and was wondering if anyone has ever heard of massage therapy triggering a cycle or even a h/a for that matter? I have been p/f for a year now and dont want to risk starting another cycle.....any thoughts?

Yes Shari!!  I have had CH's triggered by a good massage. (by bad ones too! Cheesy)   But only in cycle.  It never started a cycle.  If you are out of cycle I don't think you have anything to worry about.  Go and enjoy....or rather...start feeling better.

Did they do your FEET really good?  I've had that STOP a HA a few times.

But I've never had a massage trigger one.. Maybe it was an isolated incident - hopefully.

Barb,
At first I thought it was just a fluke you know?  Hoping that I'd be able to go back cause my neck gets so stiff in cycle.  But after it happened 3 or 4 times I made the connection and stopped going!  Now, I only have massages when I'm out of cycle and I never get hit.  But it's never the same for everyone.  This is just my personal experience.

Foot massage...that sounds like heaven!   Grin
