I'm scared!

I have been taking Neurontin and it has been working really well, but last night I forgot to take it and I have been shadowing really hard all morning, has anyone whose taken this missed a dose, and if so what happened?
My neck is killing me and I am completely stressed out! Does it get any worse than this?
All advise welcome!! Thanks!!

This is a question for your doc........if you can't get in touch with him, call your pharmacist.
It is usually recommended that if it is closer to the time for your next dose than it is from the dose you missed, you wait till the next one is due.
But with symptoms, it is important (!) to get professional advice.
This is one of those drugs that you don't guess about.
Good luck with getting in touch with your doc.

Hang in there April. I too, have no advice with this med. I never used it, but I agree that you need to call the pharmasisit. They usually know more that the doc and are easier to get a hold of too.

I take Neurontin 300mg 3x daily for a non-ch related problem. I've been taking it for a couple of months now and to tell you the truth I can't tell one way or another whether I'm taking ANYTHING so missing a dose hasn't been a problem for me.
Make sure you take your next dose as scheduled and try and get back on your regimen asap.

I can't take neurontin cuz it wacks me out so bad I can't talk walk or stand up....was on it for other reasons. Anyhow....sum people take as much as over 4,000 mg's a day I've heard for certain disorders like bi-polar ect so not sure a dose lapage would have that much effect unless a person is on mega doses....yer doc or pharmasist would be 'best' to ask with consideration to your condition and doseage prescribed. But one factor ta consider even with a simple med that seems to not effect most people........ if " I " was to take a double dose I'd prolly keel over....so....guess amount 'CAN' matter ! Hope it continues to work for ya once ya get back on track with it. Pam the anti neurontin/paxil girl
