For those that might not know, if you wish to lock your checked bags, you'll need one of these: http://www.travelsentry.org/. Any other locks are subject to removal by cutting them off your bag. Bill

Lighters are not allowed in carry on OR checked bags. You may have up to 4 books of matches. Jean is buying a bunch of cheap lighters for those of us that might need them. There is also a gas station / store on the airport road. (At least there was the last time I flew in to DFW) Bill

Thanks Linda!! I have seen it. I checked www.tsa.gov and it was really useful. One thing it does say on the subject of lighters is Quote:Lighters without fuel are not considered hazardous material and therefore are permitted in unlimited quantities in checked baggage. |
| I don't know if that helps or not but there you go! I'm getting really excited now!
