The speaker at the 2005 OUCH Convention will be Dr. Noah Rosen. Noah L. Rosen, M.D. Instructor of Neurology, Director of Fellowship Training Program, Co-Clerkship Director for Neurology Noah L. Rosen, M.D., is a board certified neurologist and psychiatrist. He is currently an Instructor of Neurology at the Jefferson Headache Center at Thomas Jefferson University. He is a member in training of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) the American Psychiatric Association (APA) and the American Headache Society (AHS). Dr. Rosen is a graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut and received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He interned at the Manhattan Veteran's Administration Hospital and completed a dual residency in both neurology and psychiatry at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Rosen is currently the resident representative to the Neurology Residency Review Committee of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). He has previously served as a national vice president of the Committee of Interns and Residents (CIR) and on the House Staff Council at New York University School of Medicine. He was awarded the American Headache Society/ US Human Health Merck Pharmaceutical 2003 Clinical Headache Fellowship Award. Dr. Rosen's publications include several chapters in On Call: Psychiatry, a publication on Status Migrainosus and several poster presentations at national conferences. His special interests include comorbid psychiatric illness in headache, and the treatment of intractable migraine. Dr. Rosen also serves as an investigator for several research projects at the Jefferson Headache Center. He explores new therapies for headache disorders through his research initiatives.
