Pending confirmation on the dates and a signed contract this information MAY be subject to changes Proposed dates: July 15, 16 and 17 2005...I am awaiting the fine print from the hotel to finalize the dates. The hotel is the Crown Plaza Hotel North Dallas-Addison The Rack Rates are normally $149.00 a night, however our rates will be only $69.00 a night DO NOT CALL TO SET YOUR RESERVATIONS YET details still need to be worked out...I will let you know A.S.A.P. when you can start calling. Here is a link to the hotel: http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/cp/1/en/hd/dalad?irs=null I have requested that our hospitality suite is one that is accessible from the pool and the Texas sized Jacuzzi areas . What by chance is the Airport most will be flying into, and is there a shuttle? Are a few TX folk going to be running taxi service for all? I so much want to be there this year, so I need to get some research done early....

Redd, 2 Airports in Dallas/Ft. Worth. DFW & Love Field Most commercial airlines fly into DFW. That should be your airport of choice. Cheaper to fly to DFW. Most of the hotels in Dallas do offer airport transportation. I'm sure Donna will come along and confirm this, and also I am certain she will check w/the hosting hotel to make sure of the transportation to and from airport. Jean

The hotel website doesn't mention anything about shuttles to/from the airports. The cab fares are listed and Dallas Love is cheaper ($25.00 I think) Southwest Airlines flies into Love. If we can really pull it together, maybe some of us can meet up and split cabs.

Count me in... That's my birthday weekend... I might even bring the wife... Yeah right!!! It's just a 6 - 7 hour drive for me. I got to go shopping for a speedo ... Just joking... Don't want to damage the minds of the kids that are staying there.

Hi, long time lurker, first time poster. I'll probably drop by the convention since I'm not too far from the area. The Houston Headache Clinic(http://www.houstonheadacheclinic.com/) has a Dallas-based office not far from Addison. Doctors Matthew and Kailasam are top-rate. Diagnosed my clusters in less than 5 minutes consultation. They may be interested in sending a rep from their office to the convention or something similar. Might be nice to have a local CH expert available in some capacity.

Donna seems like you seem to be thinking of EVERYTHING. You are a great gal! If we can afford this trip, the daycare arrangements are a wonderful addition. We NEVER EVER have a sitter so that is ALWAYS an issue with us. Thanks so much.

Quote:-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I sent this to Donna D. and she asked me to post this here. Quote: I know I brought this up at the meeting Saturday, but would like to post it here also. I have Lincare (my provider) all set to deliver 4 E-tanks to the Hotel as soon as the date & place are determined in stone. I get a special rate (probably because I am so special) and I will gladly pay for that as I did for the NY convention. If there is a need for more 02 maybe someone else NEARER to Dallas, can also bring theirs as they did last year. CC needed a lot as I, and others also did. I will also be thinking of what to bring/send as donation prizes for the raffle again. Linda If someone who is attending the convention lives near enough to drive...and wants to bring their own 02 tank, that would be great as it is hard to determine ahead of time how much 02 will be needed. Also, this is a good time to be considering what you can send or bring for raffle prizes. We made a good deal of money last year in Nashville by the generous donations of people. Thank you. Linda |
