So its been almost 2 weeks being PF. Still on the verap.  How long do you guys wait to "test the waters" as far as the cycle being done?

I usually am the type that gets one huge hit as the cycle ends, but last time it gradualy went away; so here it sit, wondering......

Chew - That sounds super as I am almost there!

Ever get off too soon? If so did it just get you hit a day or so or did you have to re-build up to return to PF status?

thanks man.

I'd know in about a day. I'd get a night hit or some shadows and get right back on the verap.

It's good to consult your doctor.  I taper down in a step fashion, see how it is at a lowered level in increments because like Chew, it can take for me up to 48 hours before results are felt.
Sometimes I can stay at a lowered dose, sometimes it's a mistake.  Shadows may follow for awhile once completely off, which should eventually lessen if it's the right time, otherwise a ch presence will still be around in a weaker state toward the end of a cycle.  I try to not let it get a foothold once again.

How many mg's are we talking about. I just got on it 4 days ago. Not sure if I am feeling better, have still had to go for the relpax here and there.  I do feel like I have less energy or get tired faster. Not sure if it's the Varapamil.    Nuero gave me 240 a day. What's common?

Thanks,

Denis

I've been taking 240 twice a day for a month - going on 2 weeks PF.

I've seen posts from people here with the mg's in the 4 digits.

This is the amount I always take and it takes a couple weeks but it works for me.

I also get very tired and sore when on Verapamil. Not sure if it is the verap either but I just assume it is from what it does.

Can't wait to get off of it!

Thank you.  Guess my nuero wants to start low and see what happens. I see him again next Monday.  I guess when we dont have high blood pressure and thats what I think it is for- to lower peoples high blood pressure.  I'm guessing here but since I have very normal pressure it's slowing mine down. My heart feels like it's beatin like a diesel LOL. Not funny but pretty sure thats the deal.  I do think I feel much better than the lithium he had me on. I did not get along with that stuff at all, for 3 hours after eatin it I felt like barfing. My  mouth made more water in 3 hrs than my garden hose put out.
