Doing Great!
« on: Mar 10th, 2008, 8:43am »
Quote Quote Modify Modify

I have not had a visit from the beast since the beginning of January. Started back on Verapamil/Zomig during my cycle which is during the winter time. Verapamil has been great for me and Zomig as well right before I get an attack.  Hoping to be out of my cycle soon.

Can't seem to shake these shadowing episodes but I will take those instead of a full blown attack in the middle of the night, running laps in the basement, pounding myself in the head while screaming.

Wishing all of you Pain Free days ahead!

Ah! The foreigners put on such airs
Wearing the tangerine suits
And their harlequin eyes.
The pain they inspire
Draws in harmonica melodies
And the feathers of birds
Which flame up at their touch.
It all comes to light in the sheer
Debonair.

Hi and its great to hear the beast is beating a retreat !

For the shadows, there are a few things that may help from Red Bull to Ginger tea to strong coffee, you might like to try them.

Have you got oxygen ? It can work well for shadow too at lower flow rate, you may only need 10L/min.

Hope it ends completely real soon for you and heres to a loooooooong remission  Smiley

The shadowing doesn't bother me too much. I can take an Aleve or Tylenol and that usually does the trick. The last time I though I was going to get attacked was right before the Super Bowl. Was at a friends house for the game and I shadowed so hard I had to take a Zomig for fear an attack was going to happen.

Would have been rough to miss some of that game due to a CH.

I am in for the long haul Dennis. I can't leave this place. No way I could leave, knowing there are people out there like me.
