I was looking at the video on this website of someone having a CH. (http://www.clusterbusters.com/) and also on there under the latest 2006 research link it says somethings about Hallucinogenic treatment, and I wondered if anyone has ever heard of this before and if this is accurate information! just a thought! i'm curious.. thanks & love, erica

#1 drop the eye roll b/c you will be misunderstood. #2 yes it is extremely accurate and is being studied or was being studied by a group from McLean hospital @ Harvard. There are hundreds who have used different methods which are described on the website to prevent and abort attacks, cycles and chronic states utilizing ethnogens (sp?) If you look at the molecular make up of many of the meds used for our condition (you can find this in the packets of the drugs you take) you will see that they are nearly the same constitution of what is in the ethnogens or how you put it hallucinagens (same thing with a different connotation) DHE is an ergot - hallucinogen in a different form Triptans are closely related to LSD etc.... I am not a chemist but like to read (mostly picture books ) I may be off but I think that is a relatively decent if not loose interpretation. READ and learn without judgement

Hi erica, and welcome. Curiosity is how we learn. Yes this does work for a high percentage of folks who try it. Study that clusterbuster website carefully. The hallucinogens don't necessarily have to be hallucinogenic, so tripping is not required, but there is much to know before using these chemicals. And avoid them if you are pregnant or crazy or think you might be pregnant. Or crazy. Or pregnant AND crazy. (No offense to M... er, anyone on the board). -tommyD
